We've reimagined our classic Besseggen jacket with a sporty, cropped fit and a lighter down filling than the original - making it ideal for transitional weather.
The Besseggen Lt short jacket is made from a technical fabric with a 10K/10K Waterproof DWR finishing. It's soft and breathable, and features both stick-in pockets and two large patch pockets at the front for storing valuables.

All the down we use in our collections is from the Responsible down standard, to ensure animal welfare from farm to supplier. This standard includes that the animals are not exposed to pain, injury, fear or distress. They are raised free from hunger and thirst and are not being overfed, and the feathers are not picked from living birds.
How to care for down:
To clean your down jacket we recommend using a delicate setting in a front load washer with down soap, then gently squeeze out excess water before tumbling at low heat. Hot tip! Tumble dry with a couple of clean tennis balls, as this will speed up the process and prevent down clumps. During the process and when dried please work out the down with hands to puff the jacket. If needed, the down jacket can be air-dried, laying flat on a towel in a warm dry spot out of direct sunlight. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Don't iron, nor bleach.
At Moniker we use Bring, PorterBuddy and DHL as our delivery partners. You can also choose to pick up your package at our store if you live near Oslo.
RETURN METHODS
You can return goods in the following ways:
- By delivering the item(s) directly to the store in Oslo.
- Log in to your profile, view your orders and select the order you want to return by clicking "request return" and follow the steps.
- If you choose to return the item on your own, you will pay the carrier when you send the return.
- If you are not a resident of Norway, contact us at post@moniker.no to create a return.
RETURNS AND RETURN COSTS
If you return an item using our returns service, we will deduct the cost of the return shipping from your refund. The cost of the return is 69,- NOK (199,- NOK for all international orders).
If you choose to ship the item yourself, you will pay the carrier when you send the return.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY DELIVERY?
Porter Buddy can deliver your order directly to your door within a few hours in the Oslo area if you order before 1:00 PM the same day. Bring delivers in 1-7 days throughout Norway, and DHL can usually deliver your order within 48 hours if you order before 1:00 PM the same day. (Does not apply on weekends)

HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED?
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation from us. We will then begin the process of packing your order. When your order is packed and ready for pickup by our shipping partner, you will be notified with a shipping confirmation email, which will include a tracking number. When your order is on its way or delivered to your nearest pickup location, you will be notified by the shipping carrier.
International Orders – Customs and Duties
We ship from Norway. Orders delivered within Norway are duty free. For international orders, please note that local customs duties, fees and taxes may apply. All international orders placed with us are processed and shipped via DHL, with delivery typically taking 2-5 business days.
All international orders are shipped DAP (Delivered at Place). This means that the recipient is responsible for paying all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes required by the destination country to release the shipment. These costs are not included in the total price at checkout and are not covered by Moniker. We have no control over these costs and cannot predict what they will be. We recommend contacting your local customs office for an estimate of these costs before placing your order to avoid any surprises.
- Refusal to Pay Customs Duty If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Moniker. Please note that in some cases the carrier may consider the package abandoned, resulting in it being destroyed. Accordingly, such orders will not be eligible for a refund.
- Returns and refunds Please note that customs duties and taxes are not refundable in the event of a return.
