Since 2005, VEJA has been making sneakers in a different way – with a unique combination of social projects, economic justice and organic materials. VEJA uses organic cotton from Brazil and Peru for the canvas and laces, as well as rubber from the Amazon for the soles. In addition, innovative materials made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled polyester are used. The sneakers are produced in factories with high standards in Brazil and Portugal. The logistics for VEAJ's stores in Europe and online store are handled by Log'ins – a company that works with professional and social inclusion.
