Ganni was founded in 2000, driven by an art connoisseur and gallery owner’s desire to create the perfect cashmere sweater. The brand has since evolved enormously, and is now known for its “Scandi 2.0” style – full of personality and contrasts. Based in Copenhagen and owned and operated since 2009 by husband and wife Ditte Reffstrup (Creative Director) and Nicolaj Reffstrup (Founder), Ganni is represented in over 400 of the world’s leading fashion stores, in addition to 21 concept stores in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Ganni’s mission is simple: to fill a void in the modern fashion market with effortless, user-friendly garments that women instinctively reach for – every day. Copenhagen is their home and where their heart lies. As Danes, they were raised to value beautiful aesthetic expressions – shaped by their surroundings and good design.
