Muuñ was founded in 2004 when Audrey discovered traditional crafts in Ghana and met Tahiru , a passionate straw weaver. The idea grew: Muuñ – a modern interpretation of the traditional basket . With inspiration from Scandinavian design, Japanese minimalism and cosmopolitan impulses, Muuñ has transformed the straw bag into a timeless and aesthetic object. Through a women-driven collaboration in Nyariga, authentic craftsmanship is combined with European standards of quality and design.
